Benefits of  Pure SaltThere are many benefits of using salt, one of which is the obvious, additional flavoring in food. However, did you know that most times when you are using salt, you aren’t getting anywhere close to pure salt? In fact, even though salt is essential to life, most of the salt we use today is no where near the purity it needs to be able to promote health.

The table salt that most consumers use goes through an intense chemical and heat induced cleansing process, which leaves it at 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% chemical solutions. In addition to being chemically treated, Salt is exposed to over 1,200 degree heat, altering its natural state.

Of course, most people are unaware that the salt they are using for common everyday cooking and eating uses is actually not beneficial to their bodies. However, there is now salt available in the United States that can provide the benefits needed to promote health.

This salt is called Himalayan Salt, originally found in the “primal sea” and recently introduced in the United States via Nepal. This salt is in its purest form and provides users with the following benefits:

  1. I know that I have a lamp at my bedside on the night stand and when I sleep I don’t feel stuffed up and breath better therefore I sleep better. When I wake up I am more refreshed and as I get away from the lamps I start to feel all stuffy again.
